Hi, I am Carol and I am a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Psychologist and Coach of over 20 years. During that time, I have worked in the NHS as a Consultant Psychotherapist and Head of Clinical Services as well as within the private sector. I offer therapy to individuals, young people, couples and families. I also offer support groups for those experiencing relationship breakdowns.
I have extensive experience in working with trauma, PTSD, depression and anxiety.
In addition to this, many of my clients have also come to me to help them with the following:
- Relationship issues
- Generalised Anxiety Disorder
- Eating disorders
- and anger management.
I am trained in a number of different therapeutic approaches which enables me to be able to create a bespoke treatment plan, tailored to your individual wants and needs. These modalities include:
- Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Critical Incident Debriefing (CISD)
- Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (D.I.T)
- Solution Focused Therapy
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
- Executive Coaching and Mentoring
- Life Coaching.
What happens next?
All therapy begins with at least one assessment session during which you can explore what you want to achieve and change in your life, and think about how therapy can help you. During the assessment we will think together about how long you might need to come, and about the different types of therapy that I could offer in order to help you to reach your goal.
If you are feeling dissatisfied with life and unsure of what you need to do to change this then counselling, therapy, or coaching could help you. It provides a space that is just yours to develop the tools and skills that could take you from where you are to where you want to be.
Sessions online via Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
UK Council for Psychotherapy
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Online Relationship Support Network
Going through a break-up, divorce or separation can leave you feeling isolated and alone. Although friends and family are there to offer love and support, it can be difficult to feel comforted when you know that they do not really understand how you are feeling.
The Online Relationship Support Network holds a safe and supportive space for anyone who has or is going through a separation of a relationship. This group is about sharing and comforting each other from a place of shared feelings and experience.
