About me

Thank you for choosing my profile to read.

I will provide a non judgemental environment for you to be herd. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed with life, struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, lack of motivation, relationship difficulties, bereavement or struggling to connect or manage your emotions.

Then you may feel ready for some additional support.

I completely understand how daunting it is to make contact with a therapist, as I was once in the other chair too. I can assure you a safe environment for you to talk openly about your concerns and we can take it step by step together.

I have had many years supporting individuals and families who are or suspect, they or their children may be neurodiverse, which covers Adhd, Autism, Dyslexia to name only a couple of groups under the neurodiversty umbrella.

As a accredited member of the NCPS I adhere to the ethical guidelines and confidentiality requirements.

Feel free to send me a message and we can go from here.

I work as an integrative counselling therapist, which means I call on various methods and tools such as CBT, inner child, Transactional Analysis and person centred, depending on your wants and needs.

My sessions can be face-to-face, online, walk and talk, creative arts and movement therapy depending on your preference.

My previous experiences has been very varied from working with neurodiverse clients and their families, within educational environments, supporting through bereavement, relationship difficulties, childhood trumas.

With a background in fitness and dance I also offer movement therapy, you do not need any dance experience this is expression of feelings through movement.

I have also worked as a therapist within a professional football organisation.

Counselling is a very personal and individual experience so finding the right counsellor for you is the key, i offer a FREE 15 min initial chat, so feel free to ask me any questions.

My sessions are £50 per 50min session

My office is easy to reach by bus or train.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
