About me

As an integrative psychotherapist, I offer a compassionate and collaborative environment to explore your world together, striving to better understand what troubles you. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, therapy can be a transformative journey toward greater self-awareness and resilience.

My approach

We start by having a free 15-minute introductory call. This is a good time to share a few details about what your goals for therapy are and ask questions that will help you get a sense of wether we can build a solid therapeutic relationship.

Our work will be determined by what your goals for therapy are. The famous "deeper work" will imply opportunities for us to examine how your early life experiences and family dynamics have shaped who you are today. We will explore how your internalized core beliefs may be holding you back from achieving what you desire in the present. Simultaneously, we will pay close attention to your embodied experience—your relationship with your body and your sense of vitality—to help you reconnect with your authentic self.

Our therapeutic relationship will offer you empathy, trust, support, and a healthy balance of challenge to empower you in your personal growth. I aim to help you cultivate the confidence to make meaningful choices and live a life that feels true to you.

Training, qualifications & experience

My background in healthcare has significantly influenced my choice of training as an integrative psychotherapist. Having worked in critical care and rehabilitation for many years, I recognise the profound connection between physical and emotional suffering.

My choice of training to become a psychotherapist at the Minster Centre was mainly dictated by my interest in body therapy and intersectionality, which are important elements of the integration model I work with and are in alignment with my values.

Over the last 4 years, I have been offering therapy to patients in the NHS at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Alongside this, I also have a private practice, and I see clients in person and online.

I have experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds who face challenges such as:

Trauma, including PTSD/C-PTSD, vicarious trauma, and moral injury
Chronic illness, disability, and recovery from complex medical events
Anxiety, depression, and dissociation
Gender, sexuality and relationships diversity-related challenges, attachment issues
Suicidal ideation and addiction
Grief, loss, and anger management

Whether you are seeking short-term, goal-oriented therapy or long-term, exploratory work, I tailor my approach to fit your unique needs.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
