About me

Welcome. My name is Abi, and I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor.  I am a professional member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and adhere to the ethical framework laid out by the BACP. I am IFS Level 1 trained and also work with relationships/ couples.

I firmly believe that by feeling heard, we can begin to heal.

I like to work creatively, incorporating a range of approaches, but my practice is firmly client led, working through a parts lens, with the belief that relationship is key.  My purpose is to guide you into a greater understanding of all your parts, and from a place of compassion and empathy, empower you to find your own solutions.

I offer online and face to face sessions in North Somerset for a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, relationship issues, family dynamics and attachment disorder.  I draw on my lived experience to provide a safe space for adopters and foster carers to be heard and explore the challenges they may face. I work for Bristol Counselling and Psychotherapy on Tuesdays, where I see clients face to face. I also offer pure IFS sessions.

You will be welcomed with warmth and kindness; hopefully together we can explore your story, where you find yourself, and discover where you want to go. I look forward to meeting you and all of your parts.
