I am a Trauma Informed BACP registered counsellor working in Harlington within easy access of Flitwick,  Ampthill and Dunstable.  I work with Adults and also young people. (age 11+) 

Life is full of experiences and events that can bring challenges, feelings of sadness, and confusion to life. It is often the case that you may not even know why you are feeling anxious, low, or depressed. Much of my work with clients is structured around managing and overcoming Anxiety.  The physical symptoms of Anxiety can be so debilitating that they stop you from living life and being around other people. Overthinking and intrusive thoughts can become unmanageable, but it is so possible to find a way through this distress. Finding a counsellor particularly when we are distressed, can be daunting, and often we can be put off by the commitment in terms of time, money and the prospect of talking about really upsetting and challenging things. Counselling can help though, to find a way through these difficult times. Together we explore experiences, thoughts, and feelings providing clarity and awareness to make some sense of the things that have happened or the difficulties you are facing that are preventing you from living life in the way that you would like.

I provide a compassionate, confidential, non-judgemental space for clients to explore how they are feeling. As an Integrative Humanistic counsellor I am able to draw on variety of ways in which to work with clients to best support them through their difficulties. I am also a qualified Breathwork coach and can, when appropriate use Breathwork and mindfulness to support our work together.

I have extensive experience with adults and young people from age 11,  in a school setting, a Mental Health Charity and also within a GP practice.

I have over 20 years of experience prior to training as a therapist working with young people in a supportive environment providing 1:1 and group support.

This will take place in my therapy room and will last for 1 hour. It is a chance for you to tell me your story and for us to get a sense of each other and how we could work together.
