Tina Holt MBACP (Accredited)
I consider we are an array of emotions and moods and at times can feel anxious or low, perhaps due to something that is currently happening in our life or perhaps we are not sure why we feel that way, only that something feels not quite right - and by sharing that experience with someone not within our family/friendship circle, helps to bring understanding and a sense of balance back into our life.
The way I work is to focus upon you and what you would like to bring to the session. Psychodynamic counselling works by looking at your current difficulties, our relationship and sometimes your past.
My experience has been with many different presenting difficulties and client backgrounds - seeing each client as an individual with their own story and experience. Areas of work include:
Anxiety; General Anxiety Disorder; Relationship issues (family, moving, separation); Depression; Bereavement; Work-place issues (bullying, redundancy, work-life balance); mental health presentations; Loss, change and Grief
Our first meeting gives opportunity to explore what is worrying you and if the way I work meets with what you are looking for.
