About us

Talking Elephants Services Ltd. provides therapeutic support to adults, adolescents and children who are struggling or seeking change with a range of psychological experiences. We welcome people of all ethnicities, sexualities, gender identities and faith backgrounds.

We are an inspiring, innovative and effective London based organisation made up of psychologists, trainee psychologists and psychotherapists who are passionate about making a difference and supporting people through challenging periods in their lives.

We seek to develop and deliver appropriate tailored therapy, upholding our belief that every individual is unique. Our approach uses the most effective therapeutic practices to enable consistent care, education and support when needed.

Our clinicians are all registered with a governing body and all have an enhanced DBS check. Our team work collaboratively to ensure best practice. We are inclusive and are respectful of race, faith, gender and sexuality because of this we have a diverse team of clinicians who can provide counselling in different languages.  Our service adheres to NICE Guidelines.

Training, qualifications & experience

We have a wide range of clinicians who are qualified and hold registration and accreditation with the appropriate governing bodies. They are trained in different types of therapy which means that we can provide you with tailored support that meets your needs. The support you receive is determined based on your hopes and expectations for therapy alongside an initial assessment with a chartered psychologist.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
