About me

One to one confidential counselling service supporting anxiety, depression, low-confidence, trauma and stress management.

Are you feeling weighed down by life's challenges? Struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, stress and burn-out or the lingering effects of past traumas? Maybe you are undergoing a major change in circumstances – for example, through illness, bereavement, employment, university, divorce or menopause. Perhaps you're also feeling the ache of loneliness or isolation, hoping for connection but unsure where to turn.

You may be feeling like you're constantly battling against a tide of negative thoughts and emotions, doubting your worth and feeling disconnected from those around you. Feeling the strain – the exhaustion, the worry and the constant sense of overwhelm.

These issues can take a toll on you in more ways than one. They can affect your sleep, your relationships, even your sense of self-worth. But here's the thing: you don't have to let them define you. With the right support, you can learn to navigate these challenges, gain clarity and emerge stronger on the other side.

That's where counselling comes in. It's a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, free from judgment or pressure.

How I work?

Here's how I work: I take a personalised approach, recognising that each individual's experiences and needs are unique. Together, we'll create a safe and supportive space where you can talk through your issues, explore your feelings, and gain insight into your thoughts and behaviours. From there, we'll work collaboratively to develop practical strategies and coping mechanisms that empower you to manage life's challenges with confidence and resilience.

In addition to counselling, I also provide coaching services aimed at helping you achieve your personal and professional goals, especially tailored for career professionals. Whether you're looking to advance in your career, overcome workplace challenges, or strike a better work-life balance, coaching can offer valuable support and guidance. Through tailored exercises and actionable steps, we'll work together to unlock your full potential and create positive change in your career and personal life.

Why choose me?

I offer more than just expertise, I offer empathy, understanding, and a genuine commitment to your well-being. I believe that mental health is a priority for everyone, that’s why I offer limited discounted rates. I also reserve several lower-fee appointments for trainee counsellors.

With convenient and confidential online support in today's busy world, I offer the flexibility of online counselling sessions. You can access the support you need from the comfort of your own space.

If you would like to discuss this further, please contact me and I will be happy to offer you a free introductory call.

Ethics

I’m a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I adhere to Codes and Ethics of the Professional Conduct, following the guidance of GDPR to make sure that your personal data is stored securely and is protected by law.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
