About me
As an integrative therapist, I work primarily from an existential and relational approach, grounded in gentle humanistic values. I aim to offer a warm, friendly, and approachable space where moments of playfulness can also have a place.
I believe the quality of the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. Feeling truly met and understood can create space for growth, challenge, and acceptance, particularly during times of pain, hopelessness, or crisis. My non-directive style, combined with careful, compassionate inquiry, allows us to stay close to your lived experience and explore the feelings that arise.
I welcome all parts of you into the therapy space. By developing trust together, we can gently explore aspects of yourself that may have felt hidden, guarded, unsafe, or shaped by shame, allowing them to be seen with care and understanding.
Training, qualifications & experience
I completed an Introduction to Counselling at the Mary Ward Centre, followed by a Diploma and MA in Integrative Psychotherapy at The Minster Centre. My training was rich in experiential learning and grounded in the major schools of psychotherapy, including attention to the body and experiences beyond the purely cognitive or material.
This integrative approach allows me to work holistically, with awareness of how our social, cultural, and political contexts shape our lives. Questions of identity and belonging influence all our relationships — including the relationship we have with ourselves
I have years of experience in working with people who have been diagnosed with HIV, people struggling with sex, gender, and sexuality, psychosexual issues, and people with a history of chemsex.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I understand that coming to therapy can feel uncomfortable, confronting or even anxiety-provoking.
In the first session we will have an informal and free flowing assessment so I can understand what has brought you to therapy, a brief understanding of your history, current issues and expectations.
