About me

*** Available for both Online and In-Person Sessions ***

Qualified Counsellor

I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor offering one-to-one sessions with an Integrative Approach. As a Registered Member MBACP of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours. My commitment is to support you in finding your answers, discovering better feelings, and empowering your own voice.

I specialise in working one to one with a range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, relationships challenges, self-esteem, stress, anger management, loss, bereavement as well as many others such as purely entering a new chapter in your life. We are all different and each of our experiences are different, most times hard to label and put in boxes.

Your Therapy - Your space, Your agenda

Drawing from different theoretical perspectives and therapeutic modalities, I adapt to your goals, preferences, and struggles. Together, we will work towards increasing self-awareness, exploring emotional issues, and developing healthier coping mechanisms. I aim to support the improvement of interpersonal relationships, foster your personal growth, and facilitate positive changes in your life.

Our collaboration will be based on an empathic and genuine connection, where I deeply respect your unique experience. Sessions can be arranged on an open-ended basis, allowing for long-term support, or for a set number of sessions if you prefer to address a specific issue. Regularity of sessions is essential for your progress, typically scheduled once a week at the same day and time. Flexibility can be accommodated when possible to suit your work and other commitments. In some cases, multiple sessions per week can be arranged.

Your goals are at the forefront of our work together, and I am dedicated to helping you meet them or explore them further. Your agenda becomes our agenda, guiding our therapeutic journey.

How it works

To get started, you can reach out to me via email, text, or WhatsApp, and we can schedule an initial conversation free of charge. This 15 minute phone call will allow you to ask questions, share concerns, and explain your reasons for seeking counselling. It's an opportunity for us to see if we can work effectively together. During the call, I may ask about your background, areas of strength, and challenges you may be facing.

If we decide to continue, we will find a regular weekly time slot for your 50-minute sessions, which will become your dedicated appointment. During your first full session, we will establish a therapeutic agreement that includes terms of confidentiality, payment, and attendance policies. This marks the beginning of our collaborative journey.

As a Registered Member MBACP  of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and MNCPS  Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, I adhere to their Ethical and Professional Frameworks.

I am able to offer online and face2face sessions in both English and Romanian languages.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
