About me

Counselling on the Coast – with Sian Draper

Offering face-to-face therapy for adults, children, and neurodivergent clients in a quiet, private setting on the outskirts of Blackpool. I also welcome couples and families seeking compassionate support and clearer connection.

I specialise in helping you understand how past experiences and attachment styles shape your present life. Together, we’ll build resilience, healthier relationships, and a deeper sense of self-compassion.

My approach is gentle, emotionally attuned, and grounded in lived experience. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by anxiety, disconnected from others, and unsure how to move forward. Therapy helped me reclaim my voice—and now I offer that same space to you.

Whether you're navigating emotional regulation, low self-worth, or relationship struggles, I’ll support you in exploring your patterns and building a stronger, more peaceful sense of self. Neurodivergent clients are warmly welcomed, with sensory-friendly options and flexible communication styles.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

About Me

I’m Sian, an Integrative Psychotherapist based in the UK. I offer a comprehensive psychotherapy service that draws from a range of psychological approaches—including CBT, Humanistic, and Psychodynamic Therapy—to suit your individual needs. My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, or relationship difficulties, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your emotions, understand your patterns, and begin building a stronger sense of self-worth and resilience.

How I Work

My approach is flexible and tailored to you. In our sessions, we’ll focus on resolving current challenges while enhancing positive thinking and behaviours. I’ll guide you in reframing unhelpful reactions and equip you with practical tools to navigate life’s difficulties more effectively.

Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences and attachment styles may be influencing your present, and work towards creating healthier responses and more fulfilling relationships. I believe that vulnerability is a strength—and that healing begins when we allow ourselves to feel without judgment.

My Commitment to You

I’m deeply committed to personal and professional growth. I regularly engage in continued learning, reflective practice, and training to ensure I’m offering the most effective support possible. I welcome feedback and view it as an essential part of evolving as a therapist.

Whether it’s refining my communication style or staying up to date with the latest therapeutic developments, I’m always striving to improve—so I can be the best therapist I can be for the people I work with.

What to Expect

You’ll be met with warmth, empathy, and professionalism. I aim to create a space where you feel truly heard and understood. Therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms—it’s about transformation. It’s about reconnecting with yourself, building emotional strength, and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, I’m here to support you. You don’t have to face this journey alone.
