About me

I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I am trained to work with different approaches to counselling. I believe that the past affects the present, but also that you are the expert in your life; with the right conditions you can heal and grow.

How can counselling help me?

Life’s struggles can sometimes feel just too much to bear alone. Waking up, feeling OK for a few minutes then remembering the pain... has that happened to you? Loss can be very hard to deal with, however it doesn’t have to be that way. With my help, you can find your way back to peace again. In time, something better.

Imagine your problems are like a weed...in short term work we cut the weed down with say, self-help strategies. For longer term work we pull the weed out by the roots.

What can I expect from the first session?

It takes a commitment to change - we work as a team to help you make the changes that you want in your life. I suggest weekly sessions as these enable you to work in a safe space, to reflect and to process what we discuss. In the first session we discover the 'contract' - what do you want help with and what would that look like?

I offer sessions both in person (Watford or Kings Langley) via telephone or video counselling (Zoom). Please do text or leave a message on my mobile and I will call you back as soon as possible, or you are welcome to email me with any questions.
