About us

Hello

We are a collective of accredited psychodynamic psychotherapists and experienced holistic practitioners, working from Fitzroy Square, Harley Street and other spaces in Marylebone.

  • We can see you for psychotherapy individually or as a couple
  • We offer specialised Fertility Psychotherapy
  • We offer specialised, time-limited Psychosexual Therapy
  • We offer general and specialist psychodynamic therapy groups
  • We run focussed education and support programmes, e.g. for coping with miscarriage and other reproductive trauma issues.
  • We offer psychotherapy combined with holistic treatments, e.g. nutrition, acupuncture, yoga therapy and massage therapy

RSF Therapy

Our practice was founded by Sarah Hanchet and Gity Monsef-Webb and we focus on how to:

  • improve your relationships
  • resolve your sexual difficulties
  • address your fertility anxieties

We are the only psychotherapy practice in London to offer general therapy; to specialise in sex & fertility therapy; & to work in a team with holistic practitioners.

We Are Based In Central London

We can see you in Marylebone, 3 minutes from Great Portland Street Tube. We are close to Harley Street in a safe and beautiful part of London.

We Offer An Initial 15-Minute Chat

To help you decide about having therapy with us, we offer a 15-minute  ‘phone or video call at no cost to you. To organise this, simply email us or contact us via this platform.

We Support The Arts

Our Creative Minds Programme offers artists and people in the creative industry reduced fee sessions for individual and group work. Marylebone is home to many creatives and we would like to make psychotherapy as accessible as possible to people who could not otherwise afford our fee.

We Run Groups and See Couples

In addition to therapy for individuals, we run several weekly therapy groups. Some are general groups for life’s struggles; and others have a specialist fertility or psycho-sexual focus.

Group therapy can be even more effective than individual therapy, and is certainly more affordable. Our therapy groups are for thoughtful, psychologically minded people looking to give and receive deep levels of support.

We can also see you as a couple: for relationship issues; to help with intimacy problems; and to support you with fertility difficulties.

Training, qualifications & experience

Sarah Hanchet

Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, Groups & Individuals, PGDip, UKCP, FPC

I help people with a wide range of psychological distress. I believe that the root of most of our unhappiness is probably to be found in what we don’t yet consciously accept about our experiences and, therefore, our sense of ourselves. I conduct psychodynamic therapy groups and I see patients individually.

Gity Monsef-Webb

Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, Individuals and Couples, PGDip, BPC, UKCP, FPC

Gity acknowledges the profound impact of childhood experiences on our ability to form meaningful connections and nurture intimacy in relationships. She recognises how emotional imprints from the past can result in silent suffering, harmful patterns, and destructive behaviours that perpetuate distress. Gity sees patients individually and as a couple.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BPC
British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC)

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.

BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.

  • Coping with medically unexplained infertility - we offer a dedicated therapy group.
  • Reproductive trauma such as miscarriage and abortion - we offer support programmes and a dedicated therapy group

Together with our holistic colleagues, we help women trying to conceive. We provide psychological and naturopathic support for women trying to conceive naturally or using IVF. Our aim is to help you remain connected to your body, especially through medicalised fertility treatments.
