About me
My practice engages with a full range of client issues from those that constellate around crisis to those that represent an awakening - particularly since these states are often interrelated. A personal crisis may signal that you are “standing on the threshold” between a habitual way of being and a new way forward.
I put your experience at the heart of our work, ensuring you have a relaxed, supportive and confidential environment in which to share your thoughts, explore your feelings and reflect on how you make sense of the world.
My approach draws on the work of Roberto Assagioli, a contemporary of Jung and Maslow, who combined Eastern and Western teachings on psychology, philosophy and spirituality to develop psychosynthesis psychology.
Psychosynthesis is a holistic and integrative psychospiritual psychology, concerned not only with how we manage our problems and alleviate suffering, but also with how we awaken to our life's potential.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
Email me to get the ball rolling. We can then arrange an initial session where we can meet, talk through what you're looking to get out of counselling and whether I'm the right person for you to work with. This initial appointment is an opportunity to ask questions and ensure a good match between what I offer and your needs and situation. If we agree to continue, we will contract for a series of weekly sessions.
I work with individuals and couples from a designated space in Batheaston, Bath. I aim to be flexible to find a time that works for you.
My standard fee is £60 per hour-long session, however I am willing to discuss concessions.
