About me
About me and my practice:
Accepting people for who they are is very much who I am as a person. This comes from the struggles I have had myself around being accepted as me. I am neurodivergent and I work in an office which is wheelchair accessible. I offer a space which is diverse, inclusive, confidential and non-judgemental. Please visit my website for further details.
In times of difficulty, you may have feelings of anxiety, depression, being overwhelmed to name a few that may lead to a loss in your confidence in making decisions, trust issues with yourself and others, low self-esteem.I am an integrative counsellor and have been in clinical practice since 2020.
I have many years of experience of supporting others in the workplace with their mental health through different roles in the British Army and in the care sector.
It’s my own journey through my therapy that has led me to where I am now. Understanding what it has felt like to ask for support even although I didn’t really know what I needed at the time.
What I offer:
The focus of my work is to firstly ensure the space we are in is safe and confidential. I am here to listen to you and to understand what you are telling me and support you find your understanding of what you bring to your sessions.
If the problem is important to you (regardless of what you think how others may view it), then it's important to me. A few examples of issues clients bring to their sessions are:
Not feeling heard, listened to or believed
Relationships with others.
Feeling stuck in a situation such as a job, friendship or relationship you are unable to move on from.
Fear of failure in trying something new.
As an integrative therapist, l draw on concepts from the different types of counselling I have trained in: Person-Centred therapy, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused therapy and Compassion Focused therapy
This allows me to tailor your therapy to meet your needs. I work collaboratively with you to ensure I am working at my best to meet your needs, altering/tailoring your therapy as needed to support you achieve your goal/s.
I am client led throughout your time with me. These are your sessions and I want you to get the most from them.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
