About me
You are the expert on yourself and your life. Making the first step is often the hardest, when emotions become too overwhelming for you to cope with alone and you feel you are unable to share them with people who you are closest to you. This where I can help and what i can offer you.
I am qualified Counsellor and registered member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Everyone has their struggles from time to time and what took me down the path of becoming a counsellor was my desire to help those in need and overcome their own personal obstacles.
I can offer you a safe confidential non-judgemental space for you to talk through your personal issues and struggles, while I don't have a magic wand, what I can do is be with you on your journey to help you reconnect with who you really are and help you to feel more in control of your life and be your ideal self.
I will be honest and open with you as I feel this has always worked better for my clients and we have achieved positive outcomes because of this approach.

Person centred counselling is all about you and for this reason I offer a variety of ways to access your counselling session; this can either be face to face, online via video link, telephone, walking therapy and home visits.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
