Nikki Roberts registered MBACP (Know Your Own Mind) counsellor
I am qualified person centred counsellor, I offer a safe, quiet, confidential space which is free from judgement, it allows you to talk and be heard, where you share and explore your thoughts and feelings in more detail.
I use different styles of counselling in my practice, meaning I can incorporate this to fit with any client's needs.
I have a wealth of experience, working with:-
Trauma, bullying, all kinds of abuse, injury from an accident, loss, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), invisible illness, Chronic pain to name a few.
Life can be challenging at times and when something traumatic happens, it can be overwhelming, your life has changed you don't feel yourself anymore. You just want your normal life back but there doesn't seem to be a normal anymore or even signs of getting any better. You just hope that you don't risk opening Pandora's Box, you're scared, anxious, depressed also isolated due to you stop going out. You feel all alone you lose any self-esteem and become self-conscious and even start having suicidal thoughts.
Even when you confide in friends & family and they don't understand what it is you're going through, or even know how to help you. They give you their opinion or tell you what you need to do, I can help you to understand what you are going through.
The first session will also give you the opportunity to see if we could work together, by looking at any difficulties you are going through in this chapter of your life and explore what has brought you to this place. I believe you are the expert of your life (you just don't know it yet) and I'm here to help you to help find yourself again.
I offer both short and long term therapy, I rent a room in Higham Ferrers, Wellingborough, Kettering and Northampton these rooms are wheelchair friendly.
I now use my caravan in Higham Ferrers for later appointments on a Thursday & Friday evening, Please feel free to contact me and we can discuss any questions you may have about counselling in more detail.

- Firstly well done for taking the first step of looking for a counsellor.
- Next step is to email or call me to talk about what it is you want from counselling and we can take it from there. I'm not scary honest.
- The first counselling session, you will be able to see if we can work together and if I am the right counsellor that can help you work through what brought you here.
