About me

Hello, I'm Nikki, if you are reading this, you have taken the first step towards getting some help.
When life gets you down and you don't know what to do, I am here to help you work through challenging times and stressful situations that affect your day-to-day life.
Do you feel stuck and don't know  what to do or how to get through it?
Do you struggle with anxiety and it's stopping you from achieving anything?        Are you always catastrophising situations?
Do you live with chronic pain, and fed up with cancelling everything?
Have you been diagnosed with a condition and need to explore how you feel about it?
The loss of a friend, loved one or fur baby is too much to face, or grieving the old you if you lost yourself along the way?

I am a professionally qualified counsellor, with a wealth of life experience and have worked within Mind Charity for 11 years, EAP, social services, solicitors and in private practice for 6 years

I have a special interest in working with Trauma, PTSD, anxiety, chronic pain, invisible disabilities, bullying, loss, neurodiverse, ADHD, ASD, and personality disorders to name a few.

I have worked with a wide range of mental health conditions, where you can talk, without feeling judged.
I can help you work through your past events through to the here and now.
Life's moving at such a fast pace and you just want to be able to think clearly. You want to feel heard not just listened to and that’s where I can help.
We will work at your pace, you are the expert of your life you just don't know it yet.
I can work with you for a one-off session or for as long as you need help moving forward in the next chapter of your life, it's all about you.
I became a counsellor after a life-changing event left me feeling alone, anxious, suffering and struggling with chronic pain. So, I became the counsellor I wish was there when I needed someone to talk to.  I will listen and make sure you are heard, I will accept you for who you are.
If you look after everyone else, who looks after you?
Contact me and let's see how I can help you.
I can offer a safe 1:1 confidential space, in a quiet space in Northamptonshire, face to face, online via Zoom or a phone call, where we can explore your thoughts and feelings around what you are going through from past to present.
I will respond to emails as soon as possible, if you haven’t heard from me within 24 hours, please check your spam or junk folder.

You can request a callback if you contact me by phone, text or email.

I also run a trauma & PTSD support group and am in the process of looking for a space to set up a space for others to join us, and set up one online.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
