About me
Hi, I’m Nathan — thanks for being here.
I’m a trauma-informed, integrative therapist with experience across both the NHS and specialist community services. My work is grounded in understanding how life experiences — especially trauma — can shape the way we think, feel, and respond to the world around us.
As an integrative therapist, I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach. I work flexibly and collaboratively, adapting how I work to suit you as an individual. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what you need, we can take things at your pace and begin to make sense of things together.
Alongside my private practice, I work within a service supporting people with complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance use, and emotional distress. I also have a vast experience working with young people, offering a space where they can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I aim to offer a space that feels real, warm, and safe — somewhere you can be yourself. I believe that connection matters, and that therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or distant. Where appropriate, I bring humour, honesty, and humanity into the room, helping to build a space where meaningful work can happen.
You might be struggling with difficult thoughts, a critical inner voice, past experiences, or a sense of being stuck in patterns you can’t quite shift. Together, we can begin to explore what’s going on for you, reconnect with what matters, and find a way forward that feels more manageable and aligned with who you are.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step — especially when you’re not entirely sure what you’re looking for. You don’t have to have it all figured out. I’m here to walk alongside you as you take those first steps.
