About me
Hello, I am Michelle and I am trained to degree level. Counselling and therapy sessions will be working in the here and now and what leads you to where you are now. Dialogue is both verbal and sometimes with energy, through focusing and mindfulness if that suits. We will work through together what is on your mind, what is blocking you from growth, how your body is responding, and how you can move forward and implement change. We can work together towards a focus and find a sense of self, find your purpose and bring together the mind, emotions, body and spirit. I integrate my clinical training with connection to body energy blockages and can work with where stress and trauma is held within you.
I like to offer a holistic way of working to expand awareness and strengthen connections. I am informed by Gestalt Practice and have experience in Yoga and Shamanism so can offer really helpful coping techniques. I work creatively and treat everyone as unique. I have experience in working with young people as well as all ages, and am good at building rapport.
I am warm, open and authentic. I hold the space safely for exploration and have many skills and much experience to call upon. I love helping those on their spiritual journeys and bring in old wisdoms taught through indigenous healers. These are tumultuous times and I can offer support and ways to be grounded and be connected. To help bring balance back.
Please email or call me to arrange an initial free 15 minute discussion to see how we can work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
With my background and experience in Yoga, Mindfulness and Shamanic training, I work Holistically, looking at the whole picture of mind and emotions, body and spirit. This is to bring a sense of connection to the self.
I can offer practices for in between sessions and also like to work with the technique of Journeying in longer sessions, if appropriate, to offer a unique way of growth and change.
My premises are really nice rooms in Honiton, and I also like to offer outdoor sessions, Ecotherapy, connecting to nature to gain a stronger sense of self and expansion of self awareness.
