About me

I offer a non-judgemental safe environment where you can explore life’s challenges. I can help you explore them on a deeper level and offer coping strategies and techniques to help overcome difficulties. I have an integrative style, which essentially means I have been trained in various modalities and my my approach is tailored to the issues you bring.

Through conversation our work together may uncover your individuality (views, values and beliefs) and help you explore your worldview and what influence this has on your life.

Everyone has different needs. Often people come to therapy with goals in mind, however others come to simply offload and be heard.

Sometimes a fresh perspective can help you identify the change you need in your life. This will allow you to live your life to the full, and improve your overall wellbeing.

Training, qualifications & experience

I gained my Bachelor Degree in Counselling in Sydney, Australia a multicultural city which exposed me to cultural diversity and challenges facing minority groups. I have experience working within charities, schools and currently have my own private practice in Larkhall, South Lanarkshire.

I am registered with COSCA (Scotland’s professional body for counselling and psychotherapy). I also regularly attend seminars and workshops to continue my professional development, see below:-
