About me

Hi there, how are you doing?

Sometimes that first step can be the hardest, welcome to my page.

Life can sometimes be so overwhelming and the should's, ought to's and what if's can be very stressful and destabilising.  Intrusive thoughts can cause feelings of fear and uncertainty and take us away from our true nature.

My intention is to support you to get to know yourself and to intentionally soften the judgemental inner voice and to develop self-acceptance and self-compassion so that you are better equipped to deal with life's ups and downs.  Through the work we do together I  empower people to trust in themselves and develop a strong sense of self and agency.  I believe that it is important to recognise that your needs, emotions and desires matter and I will support you to explore what you are experiencing without judgement.  My hope for you is that you come away from our work together feeling empowered and believing in your own worth and recognising all that you are capable of.

I provide a safe, warm and supportive space where personal experiences, vulnerabilities and insecurities can be expressed without fear of judgement.

In my practice I compassionately weave the principles of  Mindfulness based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Person Centred Counselling, Gestalt, and Eastern contemplative practices to create a holistic session which will support clients to bring about change into their lives and to truly discover who they are.

I am here to support people in a variety of ways

Lack of confidence and low self-worth
Deepening self-awareness
Unlocking creativity and growth potentials
Overcoming limiting self-beliefs
Anxiety
Cope with grief or loss
Develop healthy relationships
Deal with feelings of depression or sadness
Explore identity

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
