About me
Hello, my name is Kai,
I'm an experienced, registered Integrative Counsellor, Equine Therapist & Clinical Supervisor.
I work integratively as I believe there is no one size fits all in mental health and your therapy should grow and adapt with you as you grow and develop over the course of your therapy. Therapy can work how you like it to, you are in control of it. We will explore what you want to and I will never make you feel uncomfortable or judged in any way. Therapy is a safe space where you can be heard and find answers to the questions you have.
Therapy doesn't have a goal, your goals are the focus of therapy. Its my job to empower you and to bring awareness to the picture so that you can make choices from an informed position and live your life to your fullest potential. I work with a range of client concerns and specialise in anxiety and anxiety disorders.
My background.......is in law enforcement and first responder for the casino industry in the USA for over a decade, before that I was a chef in the catering industry. Due to this, I also have extensive experience with life changes and expat issues. I later retrained as a therapist in the UK, to help and support clients with anxiety disorders, trauma and ptsd. Along the way I also found the benefits of equine therapy and added that training to my professional skills along side my bachelors degree in integrative counselling. Reach out, I look forward to meeting you. Kai
