About me

Are you considering Online Therapy?

Whether you know what's troubling you, or whether you simply want to talk to someone, I would be happy to hear from you.

Therapy can seem a daunting prospect, and so I will take the time to listen to your hopes and fears about the therapy process, as well as whatever issues might be bringing you into therapy.

I see therapy as a joint endeavour, to which I bring my clinical and theoretical experience, and you bring your experience of being you.  Together, we can work out what you need.

I offer a free phone call ahead of any booking, so that you can have the chance to hear my voice and start to get a feel for what it might be like to work with me.

For more information about me and how I work, please visit my website or email me here.

Thank you for your interest.

Training, qualifications & experience

MSc. & Clin. Dip. Integrative Psychotherapy.

Certified Cyber Therapist status awarded by the Online Therapy Institute.

I have been practising as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 2014 and have worked at various London charities, as well as in my private practice.

The Online Therapy Institute training I undertook impressed upon me the need to carefully consider confidentiality & security issues when working online. For this reason, I have put together a guide to online therapy which is available on my website. Please visit www.evolveonlinetherapy and select 'About Online Therapy; to find out more.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

Research shows that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is the best predictor of therapeutic outcome, i.e. the more comfortable you feel with your therapist, the more likely it is that therapy will be successful.

For this reason, I offer a free 15-minute phone call before you book anything. This gives you the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have, and to begin to get a feel for what it might be like to talk with me.

I offer the initial session at the reduced cost of £35 and there is no obligation for you to return.
