About me

  • in need of fulfilment and purpose
  • grief /bereavement

There can be times in life when we feel stuck and unable to move forward, feeling overwhelmed by challenges and obstacles in our way, feeling mentally and physically exhausted by negative mind talk. If this is something you are currently experiencing in any area of your life, please contact me by telephone, email or text. I can support you by:

  • listening without judgement
  • working together with you to help challenge your beliefs
  • teaching you new skills and helpful coping strategies
  • guiding you towards your goals
  • building your self confidence
  • exploring your true values to create meaning
  • practice acceptance techniques for improved peace of mind

As a qualified counsellor, I am trained in a variety of treatment approaches. My online or telephone counselling sessions offer you a convenient way to access my counselling service from the comfort of your own home or whilst working away, or I offer face to face sessions from the Solihull Wellbeing Clinic in Hall Green.

I have a diverse range of client experience and I have specialised in relationship or family issues, anxiety management, bereavement counselling and LGBTQ+ issues.

I offer a warm and safe space to help you share your concerns and I will provide you with the opportunity to reflect upon your experiences in a non-judgmental environment.

I will give you room to express openly the challenges you are facing and support you in reaching your goals, offering a bespoke service to suit your individual needs.

This is your opportunity to initiate your own unique counselling journey. If you are ready to take those first steps along that path, I look forward to sharing your journey with you and working alongside you to achieve your own personal aspirations. Your wellbeing will be at the forefront of our counselling relationship.

I have supported clients in the UK and internationally online and via telephone sessions.

My experience with a LGBTQ+ charity agency involves supporting clients working through their gender and sexual relationship diversity concerns.  I have also worked with clients coping with the death of a partner, friend or family member, helping them with the grief surrounding their loss.

Loss can affect all areas of a person's life, such as divorce, financial or health changes. I will help you navigate through the difficulties you are experiencing. Whatever your situation, I am here to support you, I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
