About me

Are you ready to heal your past and create a new future? Do you want to make changes in your life, emotions, or health? I can help you to initiate the process of inner transformation and positive change.

My approach-I work with a combination of shamanism, alchemy and spirituality, integrated with psychotherapeutic counselling and the most up to date scientific discoveries about human potential.

Whilst this is an exciting way to work you do not need any prior knowledge in these areas. All that is required is a curiosity and an openness to work this way. I will be your guide and help you to understand how your mind, body and soul work together, providing you with tools for inner mastery and a deeper understanding of your life.

You will learn how to access your own inner guidance, intuition and increase your personal power.  You will be able to unlock your inner resources, to resolve past issues and trauma that may be holding you back. With consciousness you can break free from the patterns that keep you stuck.

Areas I work with- anxiety, feeling sad, spirituality, self-esteem, panic attacks, ADHD presentation, phobias, grief and loss, depression, unprocessed emotions, stress and feeling overwhelmed, lack of purpose, problems at work, relationship breakdowns, issues with children and family, regulating the nervous system, accessing intuition and your inner world.

This is not an exhaustive list, people work with me for a wide variety of reasons including navigating all the highs and lows of everyday life.

Getting started-Sessions look different for every client. Some clients find it easy to talk about themselves, others struggle to know what is causing their problems and how to express this. All of this is fine, there is no right or wrong way to be, just bring yourself to the session and I will support you through the process.

Book an initial no obligation consultation-If you are interested in booking a session or would like to know more about my services please text or email me to book in a time for an initial 15 minute telephone conversation.

Please note I do not have the availability to answer calls unless you have a pre-arranged appointment booked in via text or e-mail.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over 20 years experience in the field of therapy, counselling, psychotherapy,  organisational transformation, training and consultation.

As such I have qualified in a wide variety of modalities, training and experiential ways of working . This is reflected in the integrative, powerful and unique provision that I offer to my clients.

My overriding approach comes from my qualification, training and experience as a shamanic practitioner.

This way of working enables clients to make changes on all levels of their lives- emotionally, physically, and energetically. It also complements and deepens the ways I can support clients through my mainstream training.

I'm a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor, registered and accredited with BACP.

I hold a B.Sc. degree in Psychology and have extensive training in working with the nervous system, the effects of stress and trauma on the body, anxiety, and ways to safely access and work with unconscious processes.

I am qualified trauma sensitive HeartMath practitioner which is used in sessions to help my clients access their own heart intelligence and resilience. Using HeartMath supports clients to work with and understand their nervous system and how to regulate this through the heart and breath work. It also provides a gateway to accessing your full potential on many levels.

My training, qualifications and experience also include working with trauma and attachment, safeguarding, Polyvagal theory, energy healing and transformation, alchemy, elements, sand tray, story and metaphor, imagery and active imagination and creative modalities.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
