About me
I’m a cis female (she/her) I identify as white, and queer.
I'm used to working with diverse clients from different backgrounds, and with differing needs from therapy. Community and diversity are important to me in terms of inclusion, relationship models, gender or sexual identities, bodies, ethnicities, nationalities, class backgrounds, and cultural or religious identities.
I'm an integrative counsellor which means that I use different counselling theories and approaches to support you. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach for therapy.
As your counsellor, I will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can be yourself and talk about whatever you choose. I will help you decide how you want to use your time for therapy and what for. I have a plethora of creative tools that support you in exploring your individuality. I will ensure that we stay focused on your agenda throughout our sessions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have extensive experience working with Children and Young People and Adults who may be struggling with (but not exclusive too) the following: Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Identity, Relationships, Family Relationships, Neurodiversity, Self Esteem, Body Image, School Avoidance, Depression, Friendships, Bullying, Work Place bullying, Stress, Low Mood, Domestic Abuse, Compassion fatigue, Loneliness, Dissociation and Trauma.
I work with Parents with Children who have or are experiencing any of the above and are particularly struggling to attend school. I provide a space to hear and understand your experiences, whether that be with professionals, school, family or your child. Allowing you to explore what is going on for you and equip or add to your current toolkit, building a solid foundation for you to better support yourself and your child.
I work with Women who have experienced Trauma through a difficult or abusive relationship, to build a kinder relationship with yourself. We may focus on community, building resilience, self-worth, confidence, emotional regulation, compassion for yourself, stress reduction, positive relationships with yourself and others and generally improving or beginning self-care.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information
I am based at the Albemarle Centre Taunton.
The centre has a running cafe, a local bus stop is a 2 minute walk there are 3 car parks within a few minutes walk to the centre these are Belvedere, Wood Street or Elms Parade Car Park.
The centre has wheelchair access but the room is not accessible by wheelchair, please inform me if you require this.
