About me
Low-cost counselling available until September 2025, get in touch today to book your space.
A safe, welcoming space to feel heard and understood
I offer a warm, accepting, and comfortable space where you can explore what’s on your mind, without judgement. Together, we’ll work to uncover what’s been holding you back, helping you feel lighter, calmer, and more at peace with yourself.
If you prefer a more dynamic, nature-based approach, I also offer Walk and Talk Counselling, combining fresh air with gentle conversation, many find this helps them open up more easily.
Counselling for Adults
I help people gain deeper insight into themselves and their relationships, and find the confidence to create meaningful change.
The challenges we can explore together include:
🌿 Anxiety & depression
🌿 Relationship and attachment issues
🌿 Sexual addiction
🌿 Low self-esteem, stress, or simply feeling “stuck”
As your counsellor, I bring warmth, honesty, and even a touch of humour when it feels right, because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Unlike the traditional “blank canvas” approach, I show up as a real person in the room with you, so you never have to feel alone in what you’re going through.
Whatever you bring, you will be met with kindness, care, and acceptance. Over time, many of my clients find they begin to feel more at home in themselves, with a growing sense of confidence and well-being.
Counselling for Children & Young People
I also feel privileged to work with children and young people, supporting them to feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin.
Every child is unique and I honour that by offering therapy that meets them where they are, with creativity, warmth, and flexibility.
I aim to make sessions feel safe, enjoyable, and empowering, giving young people a space where they can express themselves freely, understand their feelings, and find their own ways of coping.
Let’s take the next step together

Training, qualifications & experience
- Level 5 Certificate in Working Therapeutically with Children and Young People
- Level 4 in Therapeutic Counselling
I have worked with both adults and young people through agencies, charitable organisations and within private practice. Throughout these years experience I have encountered and helped people through a wide range of issues.
I have a particular interest in helping clients better understand themselves and others. I provide clients with a gentle challenge to explore their feelings and behaviours, improve self compassion and understanding and work towards change. I provide clients with psycho-education to support understanding of behaviours and I also promote resilience and finding practical solutions to cope better with life's inevitable challenges.
I am committed to continuing to develop as a counsellor by attending regular CPD or reading in the areas which are of interest to me, or where training or reading might benefit my clients and give me further skills to support them.
If I feel my experience training is not appropriate to you and your needs I will aim to support you finding more appropriate support.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
