About me
In therapy, I offer a safe and accepting space where you don’t have to pretend or hold it all together. Here you can feel seen and heard. Together, we explore the thoughts and feelings that may be weighing you down, while nurturing your strengths.
With over 12 years in practice, I bring both depth of experience and a warm, grounded approach to every session. My approach is integrative, drawing on models including Transactional Analysis, CBT, and Psychodynamic work to meet you where you are, and how you’re most comfortable.
Types of Support I offer
Couple Therapy
As an experienced therapist specialising in relationship work, I provide a calm, supportive space where couples can safely explore the challenges affecting their connection. Drawing on training and years of experience supporting individuals and couples, my approach blends compassion, clarity and therapeutic models. Whether you are navigating conflict, distance, betrayal, communication difficulties or the impact of life transitions, my role is to help you understand what sits beneath the surface and guide you toward healthier patterns of relating.
The couple therapy process begins with a 90-minute assessment to gain a full understanding of your history, current concerns and the dynamics between you. From there, we work together in weekly or biweekly sessions to strengthen connection, rebuild trust, and develop skills that help you move forward with confidence and mutual respect.
Why Couples Seek Therapy?
Couples often come to therapy when they feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. You may be experiencing:
• Repeated conflict or arguments
Where minor issues escalate quickly or communication feels tense or circular.
• Emotional disconnection
You may feel distant, lonely or like you’re living parallel lives.
• Breakdowns in trust or betrayal
Such as infidelity or breaches of emotional, physical or digital boundaries.
• Intimacy changes
Including reduced closeness, affection or sexual intimacy.
• Life transitions and stress
Parenthood, relocation, bereavement, illness, financial pressures or career changes can all strain a relationship.
• Difficulty communicating needs
Many couples struggle to express themselves without feeling dismissed, overwhelmed or misunderstood.
How I Can Help
I work collaboratively, guiding couples through a structured yet flexible therapeutic process tailored to their needs. My approach helps you:
• Understand the root of your difficulties
We explore the deeper patterns and unmet needs driving conflict, withdrawal or disconnection.
• Learn healthier communication
I help you develop skills that promote empathy, curiosity and respect, enabling conversations that support connection rather than conflict.
• Rebuild trust and security
If there has been betrayal or life-changing challenges, therapy provides a safe space to process what happened, express emotions and where possible rebuild the foundations of your relationship.
• Strengthen intimacy and connection
We work on emotional closeness, shared meaning and rebuilding a sense of partnership.
• Navigate change with clarity
Whether you’re repairing your relationship or considering next steps, I help you move forward with understanding, compassion and confidence.
My aim is to support you both in creating a relationship that feels balanced, supportive and fulfilling—one where each partner feels heard, understood and valued.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What happens in the first session?
The first session is a chance for us to meet and explore what’s bringing you to therapy. You can ask questions, share your concerns, and get a feel for whether I’m the right fit for you. There’s no pressure to commit beyond this session.
2. How long is each session?
Individual sessions are 50 minutes long or 60 minutes for couples.
3. How many sessions will I need?
This varies depending on your goals and situation. Some clients benefit from short-term work (12-15 sessions), while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll review this together as therapy progresses.
4. Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, I offer online therapy via secure video platform. During our initial assessment, we’ll explore whether online sessions are appropriate for your needs.
5. Is therapy confidential?
Yes. What you share in therapy is kept confidential, with a few legal and ethical exceptions (such as risk of harm to yourself or others). I’ll explain confidentiality clearly at our first meeting.
6. Do you work with children and families?
