About me

If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, or if you have a history of trauma, therapy can be a safe way to explore your suffering. I am an experienced Integrative Psychotherapist offering individual psychotherapy to adults and young adults in West London. I provide a safe and supportive space to help you resolve the issues that cause you distress and suffering. In that process, I aim to help you understand, accept and trust yourself, and discover that change is possible.

I believe the relationship we create together provides the foundation for healing and my aim is to provide a warm, non-judgmental and confidential environment, so that you will feel safe to explore your concerns and your thoughts, and to work through painful feelings.

I don't believe that one therapeutic approach can help everyone and I take care to work with you in a way that best fits your unique personality. Generally though, the work we do together tends to involve a combination of focusing on current issues, examining the past and processing emotions so that they become less cumbersome. Some of our current struggles come from the emotional injuries we sustained earlier in life and these need careful and gentle attention so that healing can happen.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed my 5-year Master's degree in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute. I am a registered member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).

I work in private practice in Chiswick and in Fulham and in various settings as part of the NHS Mental Health Network where I see adults of all ages suffering from a range of emotional issues, from the difficulties of everyday life all the way to severe mental health distress.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
