About me
Hi I'm Liz. Are you struggling with your circumstances? Carrying painful feelings from the past? Anxious, sad or overwhelmed? Perhaps you have a relationship that is difficult.
With care and compassion I can offer you a safe, confidential atmosphere for you to talk freely and honestly.
Confidentiality
Your identity and all information is kept securely, and confidentiality is of the highest standard.
My Counselling
I understand the courage it can take to make the decision to start counselling, and can assure you that you will find my counselling style warm, holistic, respectful and non judgmental. I always relate with empathy, integrity and honesty. I will support you safely through the counselling process. No problem is too small.
I offer the ability to just listen when life experiences and feelings need to be voiced and heard. I can help you to understand yourself more fully and to find the right way forward for you.
I use an integrative counselling approach, which means I am trained in a variety of different approaches and therapeutic techniques. From these I tailor the counselling to suit each client's specific needs, in order to give the right expertise in each case. Depending on your difficulties, I can equip you with techniques to help you achieve the changes you want to make.
I can offer short term or long term counselling.
Half Price Consultation
The first 30 minute appointment is half price. This will give you the opportunity to first meet me to see if you feel comfortable with me. We can discuss what you would like to achieve through counselling and you can ask any questions about what to expect. We will go on to make further appointments only if you wish to.
Location
I am located near the centre of Monmouth, in a quiet, comfortable, private room, with parking.
Having lived in Guernsey for 14 years and now off island, I can provide online counselling for Guernsey people, with the reassuring privacy that our everyday lives won't overlap.
You will find more information on my website www.monmouthcounselling.com
