About me

Welcome to Reflections Therapy & Wellness

If you or your family are experiencing a difficult or challenging time in your/their  personal, educational or professional life it can help to talk to a qualified counsellor

I am a professionally qualified Counsellor based in Eastleigh. I specialise in counselling  children, adolescents and young adults. Including those with High Functioning Autism or social communication or behavioural difficulties

Choosing the right counsellor can be very difficult. I can offer a FREE initial 15 minute consultation by telephone which you can book via the app. This would give us the opportunity to chat and discuss you/your young person’s issue in brief and the expectations you have from seeking therapy at this time

As a Humanistic Counsellor I can offer you/your young person the time and space to explore how you are feeling in a non-judgmental, confidential and tranquil space. I use a mixture of both talking, listening, engaging and play work. As the counsellor my role is to listen, support and enable you to work through the difficulties or issues together in a safe environment

My practice is a beautiful and tranquil riverside location within a purpose built garden pod. There is ample street/driveway parking also available

If you would like to discuss your requirements or find out more about counselling you are very welcome to call me in confidence on and leave me a message mobile 07760974047 or you can email donnalovecounselling@gmail.com

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
