Wellbeing Consultant: Therapist, & Executive Coach, MBACP,

About me

If something in your life or your family is not working the way it should, you do not need to work out whether you need a counsellor, therapist, coach or something else entirely before reaching out.

Most people who contact us are not looking for a label. They are looking for change.

You might be holding everything together on the outside but feeling reactive, restless or constantly in your own head. You might be successful at work but struggling to switch off, overthinking decisions, or questioning why you still feel unsettled.

Or you might be worried about your child. Anxiety, emotional outbursts, school struggles, friendship difficulties, withdrawal, or behaviour that feels bigger than you can manage alone. You may be trying your best but unsure what is normal and what needs support.

At Inspire You Wellbeing, we support adults, children and families. We look at the individual, the relationships around them, and the wider systems they sit within, because difficulties rarely exist in isolation.

I personally work with adults. Alongside my work, our experienced team of therapists provides specialist therapy and counselling for children, young people, families and adults.

Adult Therapy and Therapeutic Coaching (with Me)

Many of the adults I work with are high functioning and capable, but privately stuck in patterns they cannot shift. They may be navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, low confidence, or ongoing stress linked to work and responsibility.

My integrative approach combines therapy,( including EMDR), and coaching to work through past trauma, limiting beliefs and emotional patterns while also creating clear, practical steps that move you forward rather than keeping you analysing the same cycles.

Sessions are reflective and supportive, but they are also purposeful. Most people leave with something to think about, try or implement between sessions. We regularly review what is changing so the work remains focused and relevant, rather than open-ended.

I also recognise that many struggles are influenced by professional environments and leadership dynamics. Where appropriate, we explore how workplace systems or expectations may be contributing to stress, rather than assuming the problem sits entirely within you.

Therapy and Counselling for Children and Families

If you are worried about your child, you do not need to wait until things become a crisis.

Our therapists support children and families navigating anxiety, trauma, attachment difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, neurodivergence, bereavement and school-related stress.

We work in ways that help children feel safe and understood, while also supporting parents. Lasting change often happens when the whole system feels steadier, not just one person.

Support is always bespoke to the individual child and family, with clear professional and safeguarding boundaries.

Neurofeedback Therapy

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, evidence-informed approach that helps the brain regulate itself more effectively.

It can support focus, emotional regulation, stress levels, sleep and cognitive performance. Neurofeedback can be offered as a standalone intervention or integrated alongside therapy or coaching where appropriate. The best thing about this is that you have the headset at home and can watch Netflix whilst training your brain! Magic!

Animal-Assisted Wellbeing Support

Where appropriate, Maisie, my trained therapy dog, may join sessions as a calm and grounding presence. This is an optional wellbeing support rather than a therapy intervention. Some adults and families find her presence helps create a sense of safety and ease within sessions.

Workplace Wellbeing and Schools

Alongside individual therapy, I work with organisations and schools to support staff wellbeing, leadership development and healthier cultures.

This work recognises that personal wellbeing and professional systems are often closely connected. Supporting individuals while also strengthening environments can create more sustainable change.

How We Work

You do not need to arrive with a perfectly formed goal. We will work that out together.

Our focus is not simply on coping, and not on endless analysis. We aim for meaningful movement. That may involve processing past experiences, challenging unhelpful patterns, strengthening relationships, or making practical changes that shift day-to-day life.

The pace is thoughtful, but the intention is change, therefore less sessions are usually needed.

Professional Journey
I founded my company in 2008, driven by a passion for making meaningful change in people’s lives. Alongside running my business, I worked in various professional roles to deepen my expertise:

9 years with local council services, supporting children and families in complex situations.
5 years in the NHS, delivering mental health support to adults and children, with a focus on trauma and therapeutic intervention and severe and enduring mental health.
Roles in voluntary sector organisations, providing domestic abuse and bereavement support to vulnerable individuals.
In 2021, I transitioned fully into self-employment to dedicate my efforts to helping clients and organisations achieve sustainable growth and wellbeing.

My Approach
I am interested in the fields of positive psychology, the mind-body connection, and how the nervous system and neuroscience shape our mental health and performance. By integrating these principles into my work, I help clients harness their full potential for personal and professional growth.

Play Therapy UK (PTUK)

Play Therapy UK is the largest organisation governing therapeutic play and play therapy in the United Kingdom. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
