About me
Are you stressed? Are you struggling with work life balance, trauma, anxiety, sleep and lifestyle habits? Are you an action taker? Do you want something a bit different with results fast? Are you feeling overwhelmed?
Having done a quick search within 10 miles of Shoreham By Sea I can see there are nearly 500 professionals waiting to help you! Wow! How do you even know where to begin with that?... Look no further I have a team that can support you and make sure you have the right support.
I help you to improve mental fitness through science backed approaches to enhance performance at a personal team and organisational level. This means that when you meet with me we will look at your needs, any limiting beliefs, the trauma and the blocks (the therapy bit) AND at the same time we will use parallel coaching techniques to create actionable steps and tasks towards goals in the present. This means we can tailor your support to what you need in the moment, creating long term psychological change, improved mental fitness and resilience. The session packages are designed to give a short burst for 8 sessions, then we can spread sessions out or maybe even finish. The idea is you would have worked on a good chunk of the 'difficult' stuff at this stage and we can plan what's next. There is no magic number of sessions unfortunately but working in this way means we have an idea of what's outstanding.
We also run therapeutic breathwork sessions online and in person (Did you see our article in Happiful magazine in June 2024?). Breathwork is the next mindfulness and is so powerful. We have our next Breathwork course starting October 2024. Priced just £180 for 6 weeks its a great way of getting therapeutic coaching and trying out the power of breath! About me:
I am a wife, a mother to 2 lovely girls and a fitness enthusiast. I am an established business owner having set up self employed in 2008 and rebranded in 2020. My company Inspire You Wellbeing Ltd operates locally and nationally working with individuals and organisations to create real psychological change and work innovatively and preventatively in a variety of different ways with trusted partners. I love working with nutritionists, chiropractors, physio's and other wellness professionals as well as HR, business and leadership coaches. I have an amazing network of professionals who all work together to give you the best package of support.
Having previously experienced burnout in 2015, I am passionate about raising awareness of stress and anxiety in particular and navigating more rest and recovery into people's lives. I am integrated and trained in lots of different approaches: EMDR, CBT, NLP, Life Coaching, Breathwork, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Performance and Stress Management Coaching, Leadership and Management Coaching and many other approaches.

I offer a variety of packages to suit your needs. These programmes require motivation to make changes but don't worry if you put the effort in and work with it you will definitely get results!
1. Individual Therapeutic Coaching:
This programme is my signature therapeutic programme. It is packed with science backed bespoke support but in a way that is not too 'therapisty.' We have all had a tough few years and anxiety and stress has been one of the main behaviour changes we have seen coming out of lockdown. I think society is really trying to shift the stigma and if you have been feeling a bit weary post pandemic this programme is perfect for you.
· Utilising all our training including scheduling, questioning and positive mindset. CBT, Behaviour Activation and Solution Focused Approaches to name a few.
· The programme consists of an initial consult and then 8 sessions. This will enable us to review and work out what still needs support. I aim to work intensively with you on the therapeutic side and then support can be more spread out with coaching.
2. Overcoming Trauma
I am trained in EMDR which is an amazing treatment for trauma and PTSD. What we don't realise is that we have all suffered some form of trauma in our lives even if this is just living through the pandemic! I am a member of EMDR Association please look at their website with a more thorough explanation of what EMDR is and how it can help you.
· I offer bespoke EMDR support. Initial Assessment and block of 8 sessions. NICE guidelines recommend 8-12 sessions and depending on complexity you may require more sessions ongoing. I often find I integrate this into my signature programme as well.
3. From Overwhelm to Clarity and Confidence is my coaching programme. Being a coach and a Therapist means I get to focus on how to help you in both working through on a deep level but also focus on shifting you forward. Many clients choose to undertake this programme after having therapy or if they feel there is nothing big stopping them. This is 1:1 coaching and can include support around work-life balance, confidence, self esteem, motivation, career change, emotional regulation such as stress and anxiety management, lifestyle habit changing, you name it, I can assure you this programme will be for you!

So many people have recently come to me wanting support around changing their career or career progression. What we actually find is as well as looking at the career, there are often limiting beliefs around self-esteem or self worth to work through first to allow the shift into noticing opportunities for growth. Mindset is key and I love working on the practical aspects as well as a bit of delving into what drives decision making and what really lights you up. To be truly passionate about a job makes such a difference to our lives.
Joanna recently said that she thought she was looking for a career change but what she discovered was everything that was holding her back, to the point where now she felt that the career change was like a plaster and she recognised the need to do the inner work.
4. Sleep Well Feel Better Course:
So many people have struggled with sleep during the pandemic. Using CBTi which is a science baked approach I offer
· Individual 40 day sleep programme: Includes Assessment, up to 6 1:1 sessions and Access to an App which has lessons, affirmations meditations to name a few extras.
Nikki lives on her own and has a high powered job. She came to me wanting to make changes and didn't know where to start. She was suffering covid related anxiety, work stress, sleep issues the works. We decided to focus on sleep to start as it was less than 4 hours a night. Within just a few weeks she had made so many positive changes and was sleeping better and much less anxious. She is now much more confident and has a much better work life balance.
5. Company Support.
I love working with business owners to offer more than just business coaching. We delve into what is personally holding you back in your business and operate an executive therapeutic coaching programme to help you improve yourself and that of your business. We help you with your strategies especially people and culture. Once you have this set up we can run workplace webinars and workshops, group team and management coaching to companies to support staff well-being. Staff well-being policies are being reviewed constantly in the ever changing environment with some companies considering long term changes. This is the biggest shake up in workplaces we have experienced in our life time. We have a wellbeing assessment to support companies with measuring their wellbeing strategies and then a membership platform for companies to help implement. Linking up with affiliate companies I can offer a bespoke workplace wellbeing solution to your company. Staff will have access to an app portal. This will allow you access to tools for self help around well-being, free monthly challenges, webinars around key themes like preventing burnout, how to make time in your week for what matters, how to stop overthinking and re-frame thoughts from negative to positive, how to improve sleep to name just a few. 6. Child Therapy:
I am passionate about helping teens with anxiety, trauma and everything in between. I am also a qualified Play therapist and can offer creative therapy to children from as young as 4-5 years old. I have a team of children's therapists and wellbeing practitioners who can support families in a variety of ways.
We are a multi award winning business who have collaborated with Business Mindset Magazine 'Brainz'' and have written articles for many well known publications such as Happiful, GQ, Metro, and The Guardian to name a few. I am also part of national wellbeing events and local initiatives and mentor on the Girls Network and Government's Help to Grow programme for SME businesses.

I set up my company in 2008 and have always worked employed alongside. I have worked within the council for 9 years under children and families and 5 years in the NHS mental health organisations (adult and children) as well as voluntary sector organisations working with domestic abuse and bereavement support. I have gradually increased self employed and reduced employed work and left the NHS in 2021.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
