About me

Hello, welcome to my counselling directory profile.

I am a counsellor specialising in adolescents, young people and adults.

I offer a safe space where you can feel comfortable to share and process your thoughts and feelings free of judgments, where I am fully present and with you each step of the way allowing you to be truly heard, whilst using my knowledge, experience and empathy to help you along your journey to feeling better in yourself, within a supportive and caring therapeutic relationship.

I have a great deal of experience working with people who are struggling with anxiety and low self esteem, having overcome this myself in my teenage years, which has given me a deeper understanding of how this can feel.

I have also have experience helping people through issues such as self harm, eating disorders, general confidence issues, depression, OCD, friendship issues, all pregnancy related issues, loss, and issues related to self worth and social media.

I am passionate about supporting people through difficult times, and providing a neutral, independent space, for my clients to work through any issues they would to bring.

I have experience working in both school settings and adult counselling charity organisations. At this time, I am aware there are lengthy waiting lists for people wishing to access CAMHS or adult Mental Health support, and I am experienced in supporting people who are on these waiting lists.

I am confident in working online with Zoom appointments, telephone and face to face sessions are also available. I provide daytime and evening appointments, contact me for current availability.

Feel free to contact me for an initial short zoom consultation free of charge to help you decide if I am the right counsellor for you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
