About me
Hello, welcome to my counselling directory profile.
I understand that reaching out for support or looking for a therapist can often feel nerve wracking, I offer a safe space where you can feel comfortable to share and process your thoughts and feelings free from judgments, where I am fully present and with you each step of the way allowing you to be truly heard, whilst using my knowledge, experience and empathy to help you along your journey to feeling better in yourself, within a supportive and caring therapeutic relationship.
I have a great deal of experience working with people who are struggling with anxiety and low self esteem, having successfully overcome this myself in my teenage years, has given me a deeper understanding of how this can feel.
I have experience helping people with symptoms of emotional distress such as self harm, eating disorders, self sabotage and self doubt. I have also helped clients who have struggled with, relationship problems, depression, OCD, anxiety, problems relating to others, friendship issues, all pregnancy related issues, loss, and issues related to self worth and social media.
I am passionate about supporting people through difficult times, and providing a neutral, independent space, for my clients to work through any issues they would to bring.
I have experience working in both school settings and adult counselling charity organisations. At this time, I am aware there are lengthy waiting lists for people wishing to access CAMHS or adult Mental Health support, and I am experienced in supporting people who are on these waiting lists.
I am confident in working online with Zoom appointments, telephone appointments and face to face, please note due to high demand there is a longer wait for face to face sessions. I provide daytime appointments but can arrange an evening appointment if preferred, however due to high demand there is a longer wait for evening appointments, please contact me for current and up to date availability.
Feel free to contact me for an initial telephone consultation free of charge to help you decide if I am the right counsellor for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
