About us

I am a qualified private counsellor in East London with a BA (Hons) Counselling Studies Integrative and psychotherapist also an accredited Individual member of the BACP with four years of counselling experience. I offer therapy in a supportive environment to encourage exploration and understanding of your personal issues. I can provide short term or long term counselling for a wide range of issues. I have worked in a number of settings including schools and clients from a variety of backgrounds. I do accept GP referrals as well as private individuals considering counselling.

My integrative style brings together traditional psychotherapeutic philosophies and theories with cutting-edge research and techniques that I practice from a holistic approach that is warm, compassionate and collaborative. Together, we can discover what has been holding you back and heal the wounds that have kept you stuck.

The most important thing is to provide an open and non-judgemental space where you can feel free to explore whatever you need. There are times in all of our lives when things can feel too overwhelming to navigate on our own. It is my belief that therapy can provide support, clarity and guidance during these difficult times and can allow us to undergo profound and lasting life changes.

My role is to empower and support my client to live a joyful life and more fulfilling lasting changes leading to a peaceful mind. Collaborating we will help you identify opportunities for positive improvement, within a safe and trusting professional relationship.

Membership: British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy - Individual Member

Member organisations *

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
