About me

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society working with a wide range of emotional difficulties. In particular, I am highly skilled in working with relationship difficulties, interpersonal struggles and family issues, as well as in depression, anxiety, OCD and Asperger's Syndrome.

I have previously had over 13 years experience as a senior psychologist at the Priory Hospital in North London working with inpatients and day patients in both group therapy and individually. I also have experience working for the NHS, University counselling services, in Private practice and at the Hoffman Foundation for Autism.

Although trained in a number of different therapy models, I work primarily within a Psychodynamic framework. Psychodynamic therapy seeks to help people realise their full potential in their current life by understanding fully, issues which may be holding them back. I can also offer interventions in Mindfulness and Compassion Focussed therapy. Suitability can be discussed at assessment.

I am also a RAPPS Registered Supervisor, specialising in Psychodynamic Supervision and have a wealth of experience supervising Clinical and Counselling Psychologists and other Healthcare professionals.

I have over 5 years experience facilitating weekly Mindfulness groups and I have written and presented on the topic of Mindfulness, for more information please find links to my articles at the bottom of this page.

I am also a lecturer in Counselling Psychology at the University of Worcester and Co-Course leader for the Msc Counselling programme.
