Supervision details

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, who completed my doctoral training at City University London and I have been a RAPPS Registered Supervisor for 6 Years. My particular specialty is in helping supervisees develop a good practical base for utilising Psychodynamic skills within their practice. I can also help those already utilising Psychodynamic skills to develop further depth of skill. I also have experience teaching in HE settings so have an understanding of training models also. My practice is based in central Worcester but I am also able to offer supervision online or via telephone. I have experience supervising both clinical and counselling psychologists as well as other healthcare professionals and so I am aware of the differing components and expectations for each training.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
