About me

I provide counselling to individuals in a safe, relaxed, and non-judgmental environment. Since the start of my career, I’ve had a passion for working towards helping clients achieve their goals and stepping forward in their lives. I have experience of working with Anxiety, depression, relationship issues and all forms of trauma, amongst many others. I also work in different therapeutic approaches, including CBT, humanistic and existential.

I am passionate about the work I do; my aim is to help you become the best version of yourself as I believe everyone has the ability to grow and I would appreciate being part of your journey.

These sessions are tailored to your needs, working at your pace, always with a solution in mind ensuring that you are comfortable during the whole process where together we can explore any issues you bring to the session.

I recognise every client is an individual, this is the reason I offer an initial session where we meet and identify whether you want to start your counselling journey with me. I understand that the first step on this journey can be overwhelming please be reassured I will always work at a pace that you feel comfortable with, and we are working towards your desired outcome

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
