About me

Welcome, and thank you for considering me as your counsellor. I'm an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, which means that I use a variety of theoretical approaches to best fit your individual needs.

I understand that the decision to seek counselling can be daunting, and it's normal to feel unsure or hesitant. Seeking help is a brave and courageous step. You may be struggling with difficult emotions or relationships, or just feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges. Whatever the reason, I'm here to help you navigate these struggles with compassion and understanding.

In our sessions, you'll have the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental and confidential space. We'll work together to explore your experiences, gain insights into your behaviours, and build greater self-awareness. I may also offer creative tools such as sand tray or art materials if you feel comfortable using them.

Overall, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space for you to be yourself and work through whatever's been holding you back. Together, we can work towards a greater understanding and appreciation of yourself. If you're ready for that kind of support, I'm here to help.

Training, qualifications & experience

My credentials include an Advanced Diploma and BSc in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling from Middlesex University, several years of clinical experience at MIND Norfolk, as well as supporting bereaved clients and those living with terminal illness at St Nicholas’ Hospice, Bury St Edmunds.

I am accredited by the UKCP.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in the creative and broadcast industry for 15 years, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges of balancing personal and professional demands.
