About me

I’m a Counsellor based in Westbury Wiltshire. I provide in person counselling for adults and young people aged 14 and over, who are experiencing difficulties in their life, and are looking for a way forward. Many of us face difficulties and struggles in our life, whether with anxiety, issues around anger, depression or a sense of confusion about our lives in general. I offer a space where you can process your thoughts more freely, to gain a greater sense of clarity,  helping you make informed changes.

The process of counselling can seem frightening and overwhelming, my aim is to make you feel as comfortable as possible enabling you to get the most out of the experience. Change and seeking support can be hard. I believe that by providing a space where you can openly talk and share without judgement and fear, helps makes this process much easier.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have via email, and offer a free 10 minute introduction telephone call so you can discuss what you would like to get from counselling, helping to plan the next steps. All of my sessions are 50 minutes and can be weekly or every other week to start, all are paid for via bank transfer 48 hours before the session.
Please check your junk mail after sending me an enquiry as my response may go there.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
