About me
I provide in-person counselling for adults and young people aged 14 and over who are facing challenges in their lives and seeking a way forward. Life often brings difficulties, whether it’s anxiety, issues with anger, depression, or a general sense of confusion. I offer a supportive space where you can process your thoughts freely, helping you gain clarity and make informed changes.
Counselling can feel daunting and overwhelming, but my aim is to create a comfortable environment where you can get the most out of the experience. Seeking support and making changes can be hard, but having a space to openly share your feelings without fear or judgment can make the process much easier.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

About Me
With nearly 25 years of experience in the social care sector, I bring a deep understanding and empathy to my counselling practice. I have worked extensively with adults with learning disabilities and those experiencing acute mental ill health, and I spent 15 years running care services in social care settings.
In 2022, I made the decision to fully dedicate myself to counselling—a natural progression of my passion for supporting others. In addition to my private practice, I also work as a school counsellor in a secondary SEN school in Wiltshire, where I support young people navigating unique challenges.
My Approach
My clients often describe me as real, empathetic, and, at times, even funny. I believe that counselling, while challenging, should also feel comforting and human. From my own personal experience, I know how vital it is to have someone alongside you on this journey—someone who listens, understands, and provides a space where you can grow and heal.
Together, we’ll work through the difficulties you’re facing, helping you find clarity and move toward a more fulfilling life.
