About me
I am a qualified counselling psychologist. I currently work at the Tavistock Clinic in a specialised Eating Difficulties and ARFID service for Young People and at the Non-Recent Child Sexual Abuse Service as part of the Adult Trauma Unit.
I gained expertise treating a variety of challenges and working with people who have experienced trauma, often early on in life, and who may struggle with their sense of self, with managing intense emotions and in their relationships with others.
Therapy can be a life-changing experience, and people start therapy for a variety of reasons. You may be unsatisfied or distressed, want to explore the past, process painful life events, accomplish new goals, or simply discover more about yourself.
I pay special emphasis to creating a safe, and trusting relationship, without judgement or criticism, in order to encourage self-awareness.
I offer short-term and long-term therapy that is tailored to the individual, relying on a variety of psychological modalities, including CBT and Psychodynamic, in a safe and non-judgmental setting to encourage self-awareness.
I offer face-to-face as well as online therapy.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
