About me
Hello, I am a licensed psychologist who works with individuals both via telehealth and in my consulting room at Eaton Gate. While I work with a wide range of issues, I have special expertise in the treatment of eating difficulties and body image concerns, as well as in working with people who have experienced trauma, often early on in life, and who may struggle with their sense of self, with managing intense emotions and in their relationships with others.
Therapy can be a life-changing experience, and people start therapy for a variety of reasons. You may be unsatisfied or distressed, want to explore the past, process painful life events, accomplish new goals, or simply discover more about yourself. I pay special emphasis to creating a safe and trusting relationship, without judgment or criticism, in order to encourage self-awareness.
My way of working is integrative and tailored to your needs.
Throughout the process, I draw from a wide range of theories, but at its core is the belief that the relationship between therapist and client is the most crucial element for effective therapy. This relationship provides a "secure base" that supports ongoing experiences of insight and change.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
