About me

Life can be difficult to understand, to manage, to juggle and to embrace. My aim is to work with you to give you a better understanding of yourself. You may have asked “why do I feel the way I feel, why do I think the way I think, why am I the way I am.”  Our work together will offer you a safe and supportive space, in a way that works for you, to explore these thoughts and feelings and offer new perspectives, tools and techniques to help adjust to a new way of being.

As a psychodynamic therapist, my aim is to help you to understand how your previous experiences can impact your feelings and reactions towards situations we experience in the present.

I can work with you both verbally in a therapy room or non-verbally through creativity (Pontypridd or Cardiff locations available) or we can arrange a ‘walk and talk’ (South Wales). Online and telephone sessions across the UK are also available.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • MA Art Psychotherapist (2015)
  • Lv7 Advance Diploma in Counselling Supervision (2023)
  • Adult and children’s therapist
  • Experience working with anxiety, trauma, abuse, relationships, stress, low mood/depression.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
