About me
Hello, you're probably here because you or a loved one is experiencing some form of emotional discomfort in life. Counselling can be a strong support at such a time.
I have trained in a transpersonal and spiritual branch of psychology called Psychosynthesis. One of the main beliefs of this branch is that there is an emerging authenticity (or inner truth) from the pain/discomfort one feels. As a practitioner, I aim to gently guide clients toward finding this emerging authenticity or inner truth.
My belief is that our life's journey is to find our way back to our authenticity which we were in touch with as children. As we grow, life's experiences can lead us to disconnect from our authenticity, thus causing us to lead a life which at one point may result in a feeling of deep pain or unfulfillment.
If you feel ready to embark on a path of self-discovery and start living your life in an authentic manner, please reach out and we can look forward to working together.
Sometimes, one may simply feel lonely despite being surrounded by others. I am here to listen and provide a safe space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a qualification in Psychosynthesis from The Psychosynthesis Trust in London, UK.
Prior to this, I gained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. I also have a Bachelor of Education from University of Calgary in Canada resulting in a five year career as a teacher and private tutor in Canada, Dubai, and London.
As a counsellor, I have worked successfully with people from various backgrounds. My experience with living and working in different countries has given me insight into the cultural nuances in our thoughts and behaviours. Thus helping me in gently guiding clients to a more in-depth exploration of themselves.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Once I receive your enquiry, I will be in touch with you within 48 hours to arrange a free 15-minute initial consultation. This can be done online (video call), or as a phone call.
From there, we will arrange a weekly 50-minute session time to begin our work together. I only offer weekly sessions as it allows a continuity to our work.
The first 50-minute session is different to the rest as an information gathering session. In this session, I find it useful to get more information about what's brought you to counselling. I will also ask questions to learn more about your familial background, and past experiences with education, relationships, and more general information.
Details regarding the above, confidentiality, holidays, and general housekeeping information is included in a Client Agreement form which I send to you once we've agreed to work together.
I look forward to hearing from you, and working with you.
