About me

Hello, I'm Proscovia, my mission is to empower individuals in their pursuit of an enhanced quality of life. I aim to guide you in cultivating deeper self-awareness and rediscovering inner resilience, all while inspiring the recognition of your limitless potential.

I'm dedicated to establishing a strong therapeutic alliance. My commitment is to assist you in overcoming life's challenges, and my values as a therapist emphasise inclusivity and respect for diversity.

I provide individual counselling and psychotherapy services for adults, catering to both short-term and long-term needs. I am based in London.

Regardless of the reason you seek therapy, you can anticipate a secure and confidential space that, ideally, enables you to freely voice your concerns. I will inquire about your experiences, listen without judgment, and offer guidance to assist you in overcoming obstacles.

Together we can establish a plan geared towards achieving specific goals and securing the support you require. As an integrative psychotherapist, I utilise various dynamic techniques, tailoring them to best suit your needs. This has deeply influenced my approach, emphasising the importance of self-awareness in my practice.

I firmly advocate for fostering positive change, and this approach has proven invaluable in nurturing a strong sense of self-worth and guiding individuals away from limiting mindsets. Together, we explore the present moment, untangle patterns, and collaboratively cultivate insights for transformative shifts on your unique life path.

I acknowledge your needs and personal beliefs, with a mindful approach that respects and aligns with your cultural and traditional context in my relational style of work.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
