About me

Why Choose Me as Your Counsellor?

Hello, I'm Pam, an integrated childhood trauma specialist counsellor working in the Slough, Windsor & Reading areas - I have extensive training and years of experience specializing in providing support to individuals who have experienced childhood trauma. Together, we can navigate the intricate journey of healing from past wounds and rediscovering your inner strength.

I specialize in working with individuals whose lives have been shaped by childhood trauma, specifically looking at how this can impact areas such as low self-confidence, a negative view of self, persistent low mood and not being able to address your own needs. Understanding these effects, I tailor my approach to address each challenge effectively.

In our sessions, I offer a warm and empathetic approach coupled with evidence-based techniques specifically designed for trauma survivors. I am here to empower you, helping you regain your self-confidence, manage anxiety, assert yourself effectively, and cultivate healthier communication patterns. Together, we will address the roots of people-pleasing tendencies and work on lifting the weight of persistent low mood.

As a childhood trauma specialist, I possess extensive knowledge and expertise in trauma-informed therapies, enabling me to guide you through the intricate process of healing.  I provide holistic support, addressing not only the emotional scars but also the cognitive and behavioural patterns that may have developed as a result of childhood trauma.

If you are ready to break free from the chains of childhood trauma, I am here to support you. Together, we will work on rebuilding your self-confidence, managing anxiety, enhancing your communication skills, and fostering a positive mood. Let's embark on this transformative journey towards a more confident, assertive, and emotionally resilient you.

Feel free to reach out for an initial consultation. Together, we will rewrite your story, helping you reclaim your confidence, joy, and overall well-being.
