About me

I am an integrative therapist trained in person-centred, CBT and psychodynamic approaches. I offer both short and long term therapy to adults, both face to face and online.

My practice is neurodivergent friendly, LGBTQIA+ and gender affirming and antiracist/anti-oppressive.

There are so many things we don't realise are affecting us and we can get help for, such as feelings of anxiety and worry, work stress and relationship issues. You may be struggling with low self esteem or setting boundaries. Perhaps you have even been told you're 'very self aware' and it has stopped you from receiving the help you need.

Whatever your personal challenges, I can offer you a safe space without judgement. We will work together to explore your own processes and identify patterns and behaviours that may be contributing to your difficulties, considering both childhood and the present. I work to empower clients to take control of these processes, giving you with the awareness and confidence to to make the positive changes you need.

As choosing the right therapist can feel overwhelming, I offer a free 20 minute online session for us to get to know each other and you to ask all the questions you need to feel comfortable and confident.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Master's degree in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy.

I have experience working with the NHS, with military veterans, crises services and domestic violence. This gives me a range of experience in areas not limited to depression, anxiety, low self-confidence, anger, autism & ADHD, self-harm, suicidal ideation and trauma.

I specialise in ADHD, having both professional and personal experience with neurodivergence. Whether this has been a long term diagnosis or something that was missed during childhood, I will work to help you understand it. My practice is neurodivergent affirming and we will work together to better understand your ADHD, help to regulate and manage symptoms and undo all the negative stigma that may have been put upon you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
