About me

25 years experience of working with Individuals, Couples, Adults, Children, and Young People.

I believe that with help, individuals can find solutions to their difficulties.
I will work with you, to understand the difficulties you are experiencing, and find the most appropriate solutions for YOU.

My areas of expertise are....

Relationship difficulties
Managing Stress and Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Abuse Survival,
Confidence Building,Parenting Difficulties, Problem Solving. General anxiety .
Work related stress.
Weight management.
Working with children and young people.

Working together we will explore patterns of behaviour, how the past may be effecting the present, and develop strategies for managing change, and planning for a positive future.

My approach is very down to earth, my aim is to build an honest, and accepting working relationship where we can work together to understand what may be causing distress, and find effective strategies to make positive changes.
I offer an initial session where we can discuss the reason that brought you to counselling, its important that you feel comfortable working with me, and then you decide if you want to book further sessions.

I am an experienced relationship counsellor, and can also .offer mediation to manage seperation, and issues around child access/contact.

Most of us experience difficulties at some time or another, counselling can help to gain some clarity, find solutions, and make the changes we need that enable us to get back on track, and live the life we deserve.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
