About me
Empathy, acceptance, and honesty are at the centre of my approach being a Person-Centred (trauma informed) practitioner.
I work with an holistic approach to build a trusting relationship with each person, enabling you to explore, identify and work through any presenting and underlying issues. Recognising each client is unique and applying a compassionate understanding of your world, from your perspective, helps to reflect my non-judgmental way of working. This enables the counselling process to take place and together we can work through whatever you are ready to explore.
This will facilitate your journey, helping you to feel comfortable and supported when exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviour allowing healing to then occur. With enhanced self-awareness, you can feel empowered to take the lead on how you wish to move forward with a potential new found set of tools and techniques.
I have substantial experience in supporting people with emotional and complex issues as well as a wide range of mental health issues. I have volunteered with charitable organisations working with a wide range of clients. I have 15 years’ experience of supporting roles working in the police force and council.
