About me

Hello - my name is Linda. I am a CBT and person centred counsellor/ therapist working from home in the South Side of Glasgow. I offer a warm, safe and supportive environment for us to work together on whatever difficulties you may be experiencing. We will work at a pace that will suit you either on a short or long term basis. It may be a specific issue, it may be a general feeling or it may be that you feel ready to take that first brave step on your journey back to a better place.
I have been involved as a therapist for over 20 years in various settings including the public and voluntary sectors as well as private practice.

I offer a wide range of counselling therapies and coping strategies all with one thing in common - you are at the heart of the process and my approach will always be tailored to your needs.

My preference is for face-to-face counselling but would consider telephone counselling if appropriate

Training, qualifications & experience

I started my counselling training over 20 years ago and fully qualified as a BACP accredited counsellor some 13 years ago with a Diploma in Relationship Counselling via the University of York St. John

I am fully committed to continuing professional development and throughout that time have trained in a variety of courses including addiction, gambling, trauma, relationships, young people

I have 20 years experience of working with young people, individuals, couples and families and in working with issues including depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, addictions, bereavement, eating disorders, abuse, gender/sexuality, self harm

I have particular experience and proven ability in working with young people aged 12 - 18.
